Head Coach Boys Varsity Basketball

Scott Moskovitz begins his tenure as head coach of the Cavaliers boys basketball program starting with the 2024-25 season, after succeeding longtime coach Shawn Munford.   
Having spent prior years supporting the program (including serving as an assistant), Moskovitz brings fresh leadership and a focus on development and depth. According to a season preview, he emphasized “new roles” for returning players as the team prepares for competition under his guidance.  
In his first year, he aims to strengthen the program’s fundamentals, build internal leadership, and set the tone for sustainable success in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. With experience in the local area and a commitment to empowering young athletes, Moskovitz is positioned to usher the Cavaliers into a new era. Additional career history will be documented as his coaching tenure develops.

Coach Jose Hernandez

Head Coach Girls Varsity Basketball

Jose Hernandez took over as head coach of the Cavaliers girls basketball program for the 2024-25 season, moving up from his role as assistant coach.  
Prior to his promotion, Hernandez worked under former head coach Carly Gallagher and was deeply involved in player development, team strategy and program culture.  
His first season at the helm is described as a “new era” for the program, with emphasis on revitalizing competition, strengthening fundamentals and building continuity for younger athletes.  
Hernandez brings a hands-on approach to coaching, with strong ties to the school community and a clear focus on preparing student-athletes both on the court and academically. Given his recent appointment, additional experience and achievements will be documented in the seasons ahead.
