What Diversity Means here

Our six area schools reflect Monroe County's reality - families who moved from Brooklyn and families who've farmed here for generations. Homes where three languages are spoken and homes still figuring out the college application process. Students headed to four-year universities and students building careers through trades, military service, or entrepreneurship.

By sharing stories from across these experiences, we show current students that success in the Poconos isn't one-size-fits-all.

Daysha Mobley's journey from Pocono Mountain East High School to becoming an esteemed dental professional is nothing short of inspiring. A 2020 graduate with an impressive 3.5-4.0+ GPA, Daysha demonstrated exceptional academic prowess and leadership potential throughout her educational career.
Academic Highlights: • SAT Score: 1100 • High School GPA: 3.5 - 4.0+ • Graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene
