why 4-on-4?

Fewer players means more touches, more development, and more fun. Crown 44 prioritizes:
Skill development and action so players working in the off-season can put their work into action prior to the school winter leagues beginning. We believe that a fast-paced and limited team-size produces different outcomes in the game we have played with love and passion.
This gives the youth an opportunity to have high engagement and fair play. We pride ourselves on inclusion, but understand competition. You bring your team, we'll provide the league.
Cultural pride, sportsmanship, and community identity are prioritized. We want to take the Pocono youth basketball community and focus on the aspect of community-build. We promote, not demote. We want our players and families to pride themselves on the league coming together rather than using it as a facility to tear down. That is not our mission. Our mission is to provide skill-building opportunity to the players that need it for their development.
